The Ann Arbor Dominican Sisters will be featured on Oprah today, Tuesday, February 9th, at 4 pm. Seton Alumnae Anne Quinn (‘91) is a member of their congregation. Oddly enough, they will be featured on the Oprah show with…. a western geisha. Connection? Hmm… can’t see one. So we announce this news with a caveat: viewers beware what Oprah might connect between the two.
Catholic Blogger, the Anchoress, has a preview commentary about the show and the problems with talk shows trying to understand Catholic religious vows on First Things.
Those who get a chance to view, please leave comments here about the show, so those who don’t get to watch can hear about it.
