Don Buser, a longtime Seton supporter, builder, father of seven alumni and father-in-law of 2, is in the hospital in Raleigh, NC recovering after knee replacement surgery last week. He and his wife Mary would appreciate more prayers for him, as he is having a difficult recovery. Please offer any prayers or sacrifices that you can, or you can pass on your thoughts for Don to his son, Fran at [email protected]. He would be very happy to know there are many people out there thinking of him as he is in the hospital during this Christmas season.

Please pray for the soul of Kathleen Severe ’88 who died Sunday, October 25, 2009. Please pray for the Severe family in this time of mourning. Her wake will be Thursday, October 29th at Pierce Funeral Home. Viewing hours are 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm with a prayer service at 7:30. The funeral will be at 10 am at All Saints on Friday, October 30, 2009. Burial will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens.

A very close friend of Christy Coy Dodge, Mindy Guinn, has just been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She is a young mother and she and her husband Matt have 2-year old twins, Cecilia and Thomas. We are asking everyone to pray a novena of rosaries for a miraculous healing through the intercession of Mr. Thomas Vanderwoude; perhaps Our Lord would like to glorify His Name through the example and prayers of this holy husband and father.
